Our Peer Review for Special Issues
African Journal of Business and Innovation (AJBI) ensures that all submitted
manuscripts are carefully assessed through a structured peer review system designed
to uphold quality, validity, and credibility. The journal follows a double-blind
method, keeping reviewer and author identities anonymous. The process begins with
online submission and editorial screening, followed by evaluation from at least two
independent reviewers who provide recommendations. Based on this feedback, the
editorial team may accept the manuscript, request revisions, or decline it. Revised
manuscripts are reassessed, and once requirements are satisfied, the paper undergoes
editing and proofreading prior to publication.
The review system emphasizes expert evaluation, confidentiality, constructive
guidance for authors, and adherence to review deadlines. The journal typically
completes reviews within four weeks, though timelines may vary depending on
circumstances.
