Errata and Corrections Policy
African Journal of Business and Innovation (AJBI) is dedicated to preserving the
integrity and accuracy of its publications. If errors are discovered that do not change
the main outcomes but could mislead readers, the journal will issue a correction in the
form of an Erratum or Corrigendum.
An Erratum addresses significant editorial or production-related mistakes made by the
journal, whereas a Corrigendum addresses errors identified and corrected by the
authors. Eligible corrections include presentation errors that do not affect conclusions,
author information inaccuracies, omitted acknowledgements or funding details, and
minor factual mistakes that may impact understanding. Minor typographical issues are
typically excluded unless deemed important.
Requests must be submitted to the Editor-in-Chief with details of the error and
suggested correction. The editorial team reviews the request and may involve authors
or reviewers before approving publication of the correction in the next issue, with
links to the original article. Corrections are openly available and clearly associated
with the original publication to maintain transparency.
