Admission Criteria for the Editorial Committee
African Journal of Business and Innovation (AJBI) enforces strict academic and
professional requirements for appointing guest editors. Candidates undergo
comprehensive evaluation to preserve the journal’s credibility and to ensure alignment
with its mission of disseminating impactful research.
Guest editors are chosen based on academic training, subject expertise, and
professional accomplishments within governance and development fields. The
verification process includes reviewing academic credentials, assessing editorial or
peer review experience, and considering scholarly contributions such as publications,
conference presentations, and leadership roles.
All editorial committee members, including guest editors, must demonstrate academic
excellence through a doctoral or equivalent qualification, possess relevant editorial or
peer review experience, commit to the journal’s ethical standards, and receive
nomination and approval from the editorial committee upon meeting these criteria.
