Editorial Process
Steps in the Editorial Procedure
Step 1: Submission and Initial Evaluation
Authors create an account, submit their manuscript online, and the editorial assistant
performs an initial compliance check. The Editor-in-Chief then assesses the
manuscript’s suitability and decides whether it should be sent for peer review.
Step 2: Review Process
Appropriate manuscripts are sent to two independent reviewers using a double-blind
method. Reviewers are allocated four weeks to provide feedback. The Editor
considers these reports to determine the manuscript’s outcome.
Step 3: Revision Stage
If revisions are requested, authors must update the manuscript accordingly. The Editor
evaluates the revised version to ensure the required improvements have been made
before granting acceptance.
Step 4: Finalisation and Release
The manuscript is copy edited, proofread, and formatted. Final proofs are generated
for approval by both authors and the Editor. After approval, the article proceeds to
production and publication in the forthcoming issue.
