This journal is committed to upholding the integrity of the scholarly record. If errors are found that do not change the study’s findings but could cause confusion, a formal correction will be published to provide clarity.

Types of Corrections

  • Erratum: Issued by the journal to correct editorial or production mistakes (e.g., layout errors, author name misspellings).
  • Corrigendum: Requested by authors to address errors they are responsible for (e.g., incorrect data labels or missing acknowledgments).

Criteria for Corrections
Corrections may be issued for:

  • Errors in data presentation (tables, graphs) that do not affect study conclusions
  • Mistakes in author names or institutional affiliations
  • Omitted disclosures (funding, conflict of interest)
  • Minor factual inaccuracies

Submission and Review Process
Requests for corrections must be submitted in writing to the Editor-in-Chief with a clear description of the issue and a proposed solution. The editorial team will review the request and may consult authors and reviewers as needed.

Correction Publication
Approved corrections will be published in a future issue and clearly marked as “Erratum” or “Corrigendum.” A direct link to the correction will be added to the original article online.

Commitment to Transparency
All corrections will be openly accessible. The original article will remain unchanged but will carry a clear note indicating that a correction has been issued.
