Article Withdrawal Policy

We understand that authors may sometimes need to withdraw their manuscript after submission. The journal does not charge authors for withdrawing their articles.

Possible Withdrawal Stages

  • Before peer review

  • During peer review

  • After peer review, before acceptance

  • After acceptance, before publication

How to Withdraw your article

  1. The corresponding author should email the Editor‑in‑Chief or editorial office.

  2. Provide your reason.

  3. Confirm that all co-authors are on board.

You’ll receive confirmation once the withdrawal is official.

What to Keep in Mind

  • Tell Us Early: Letting us know early helps reduce wasted effort.

  • Be Professional: Repeated or vague withdrawals aren’t ideal and may impact future submissions.

  • If Accepted Already: Explain why you need to withdraw—resources may already be in place.

  • After Publication: Once published, articles become a lasting part of the academic record and must stay publicly available to uphold transparency, responsibility, and scholarly integrity. If a significant issue arises such as a critical error, ethical violation, or legal challenge, the journal will follow COPE guidelines to issue a correction or formally retract the article.

Don’t Abuse It
Don't use withdrawal as a way to avoid peer review or to submit elsewhere simultaneously. Doing so could result in a ban or formal notice.
